Minto on SR-52 Completion
Why didn't the SR-52 construction schedule move up when Prop X lost as Councilman Minto promised? "Finish 52 NOW - No on X" KLSD Stacy Taylor Show prior to Election in 2005. The SR-52 to SR-67 construction schedule remains start 2009: finish 2012 on the Caltrans website http://www.dot.ca.gov/dist11/projectinfo/index.htm
Answer: The "Finish 52 NOW - No on X" argument was only a ploy to defeat the initiative. City officials knew Caltrans schedule would not change.
